I think I first noticed this my Senior year in undergrad and for some reason was thinking about it today. Let's break this down SAT style, see if you can identify any discernable pattern or linear progression in these photos.
1) Sophomore Year (October 2003):

Junior Year (October 2004):

Note: The group is slightly askew. Simpson and Bobby can't seem to locate the person taking our photo. Simpson looks like he has down syndrome as he stares haplessly into his pitcher. Cahill is wearing a cowboy hat? Still, we seem mildly in control of ourselves (though we clearly no longer mess around with the limited volume capabilities of beer bottles).
Senior Year (October 2005):

Note: College has destroyed the minimal capacity we had as individuals. Tyler is trying to fight, no one. Bobby is losing what I can only assume was an intense battle with gravity. Cahill is somewhere inside Plantation and evidently couldn't rouse himself for the photo. Nelson is just, well, angry.
Post Grad (October 2006):

Only a matter of months after we've left university. We suddenly all own suits, which is inexplicable. We also posses the ability to stand upright and look like functional adults.
Conclusion: Clearly a proponent argument for environmental influences over nature. Or something like that, dude.
Post-Script (April 2009): I miss...

Note: The visible hand of God (Cap. G).
